Hex bit driver for 3.5mm jack knurled nuts - Knurl Kontrol - precision machined stainless steel tool for modular synth maintenance and repair in 1/4" and 4mm hex

Anyone into synth DIY or even basic maintenance of Eurorack modules will be very familiar with the near ubiquitous 3.5mm knurled nut - but in recent years, the supply of knurled nut drivers has become very sparse, and reliably sourcing tools has become challenging.

Owning only one of knurled nut driver myself, it was clear that something had happen - if I lost my singular driver, I'd be in so much trouble, trying to build your modules with no access to proper tools in sight.

For that reason, I decided to design my own knurled nut driver, precision machined from stainless steel. The driver is designed with strength, longevity and utility in mind, but most importantly the hope of proliferating one of the most often used tools in synth DIY at a reasonable and approachable price.

The stainless steel used for these bits is safe to use in all audio, video and camera equipment, as it is non-magnetic, to avoid interfering with sensitive equipment.
